A slightly exhausting Canada Day in Victoria Park - but so much fun!
Helping out Hot 105.5 with their Canada Day weekend Gas Drop! Gas went down to 105.00 for one hour, and we had a blast playing music and putting stickers on cars. We’re doing it again later on today!
And this is the same spot, just turned. Yep, that’s the Charlottetown Mall. I’m not used to even seeing another human on the trails…let alone a huge mall!
The Confederation Trail stretches across the Island (it’s the old railway). This is a view of the new part of the trail I’m ‘ralking’ (walk/run) in Charlottetown.
Yesterday I said goodbye to Cardigan, PEI, and traded signal-less rooms and empty streets for wifi and friends. My very good friends took me in, and I now call Charlottetown home. It’s a lovely city, with tons of history and good food. It’s also pretty unique, with university campuses and cars surrounding scattered, random fields. My mosquito bites are fading, but the photos and memories aren’t, and I’m so excited to start this part of my summer! Job hunting begins tomorrow.
Ahoy! Me on the ocean floor. The tide in The North River (downtown Charlottetown ) goes out so far you can take a stroll on the floor with the leftover mussels, crab and jellyfish. This boat was leftover too…but only until the tide comes back.
